Honda to Reall 3249 Honda City in Indonesia

Honda will conduct a recall of about 3240 units of Honda City in Indonesia. Honda withdrew from the city to improve the main component of power window switch OMRON production.
Despite recall Honda City, Honda says that so far, none of the cases reported in connection with the major components of the power window switches that occurred in the town of Honda worldwide.
He recalled the production of Honda Honda City in 2007 through 2008 that use of the window of the main power switch manufactured OMRON. All New Honda City launched in Indonesia in November 2008 are not included in the model will be withdrawn.
As quoted in a press release from Honda Prospect Motor, Tuesday (2/2/2010) The withdrawal will be from March 1, 2010 to 30th September 2010.
President Director PT HPM Yukihiro Aoshima said the retirement program for improving Honda City is the obligation of producers to ensure that Honda is in the hands of customers are always in a state consistent with the standards of quality producers desired.
"Therefore, continuous assessment that we are always making each product as part of our commitment to quality to achieve customer satisfaction," he said.
